Psychosexual Therapy/Relationship Counselling and Sex Addiction in Exeter City Centre.
Hello my name is Sara Briner I am an Accredited Pyschosexual Therapist by COSRT (College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists), Qualified ISAC trained Sex Addiction Therapist registered with ATSAC a a general qualified counsellor, Registered Member MBACP (Accred) (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and Relate Qualified Relationship Counsellor. I have done further training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I am a qualified Emdr therapist to treat trauma and qualified supervisor.
I work with individuals and couples for sex therapy (sexual difficulties due to psychological reasons) issues of sexual addiction and relationship counselling in Exeter. Sex therapists have carried out extensive professional training and do not offer any other services than therapy. I have done further training to treat Sex Addiction.
I also offer general counselling for individuals and provide counselling to a number of EAP'S (employee assisted schemes) for short term therapy. I offer general counselling to students on counselling courses and also supervise both qualified and student counsellors.
EMDR is available for individuals and for small groups for trauma and critical incidents.
My office is based in central Exeter on the second floor, in a central location with pay and display car parking close by.

- Relationship difficultiesI have been working as a counsellor in private practice since 2004, and am educated to diploma level in counselling and a Registered Member MBACP (Accred). (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). I have undertaken further training with Relate for couple and individual counselling for relationship difficulties, and have also qualified as a psychosexual therapist accredited by COSRT (The College of Sexual Relationship Therapists).
I spent 7 years working for Relate. In 2009 I started working for the NHS as a specialist counsellor and psychosexual therapist and left in 2010. I am a qualified supervisor and offer supervision to qualified counsellors and students in training.

Appointments available in central Exeter
Appointments for therapy are weekly, sex therapy is available weekly or fortnightly. Sessions are also available by facetime/Skype these are not suitable for couple counselling. The therapy process requires commitment please make sure you are available to undertake regular sessions.
Payment: When you book and confirm a session you will be asked to pay for this session by Bacs to reserve the space. Appointments cancelled with less that 48hrs notice are charged at the full rate. I am able to accept BUPA, AXA PPP, VITALITY HEALTHand AVIVA health insurance policies.
